Our small churches are passing on God’s love to as many people as possible.

In Haiti, our small churches collectively represent over 5,000 in weekly attendance in person, but thanks to technology, several of our churches broadcast their weekend services online.

Pastor Enock Senevil broadcasts the church services online so the Gospel can reach more for Christ.

At our church in Neply, Bord-Mer, Pastor Enock Senevil, a graduate of New Missions, oversees the weekly Facebook livestream. He told me the reason he started doing church online is because it is a way for us to evangelize the unchurched. Plus, many people cannot come to church, especially when they are sick. He said Haitians in other countries still worship with us online. He continued sharing that his prayer for Haiti is to regain security so the country can function as it once did, and that foreigners will be able to enter Haiti without serious safety issues.

The ladies from Neply have a singing group and share special songs of worship and encouragement.

Pastor Enock says, “We thank God because He has enabled New Missions to continue supporting Haiti during difficult times. It also means we do not have more young men and women joining gangs. ‘Haiti for God; God for Haiti.’ Through our online services, more people are hearing the Gospel and asking for prayer.”

Our Neply, Bord-Mer church was established on Sunday, January 8, 1983—and continues ministering 42 years later.

Pray for our churches in Haiti as they are a beacon of hope and are proclaiming the Good News. ~Tim DeTellis
