Each summer, our churches in Haiti organize local mission trips to share the Gospel, but also strengthen believers to serve Christ with courage and compassion.

Participants return home with greater confidence to speak for Jesus and become His hands and feet. This year, three teams are serving in different regions.

Bossier's Pastor Aguerson, Pastor Guy, and Pastor Guillaume led the mission to Petit-Goâve.

In mid-July, the first team of 45 traveled near Petit-Goâve to partner with a local church. Members came from our churches in Leogane-Guillaume, Bossier, and Fond-Jacques. Pastor Guy, who often ministers at the Fond-Jacques church, helped lead the outreach. Burdened for people who needed to hear the Gospel, the team prepared through two days of prayer, fasting, and training.

The host church graciously welcomed the team and provided sleeping accommodations. Each day they visited nearby communities, shared the Gospel, prayed with families, and distributed clothing and sandals provided by New Missions. Evening services focused on the theme, “Repent, because the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” God blessed their efforts, as 15 people received Christ and others who had backslidden joyfully returned to the Lord. ~Rachel DeTellis
