From Student to Leader

This summer, we were blessed to take our Leaders for Christ students on their annual mission trip.
For the past six years, we have partnered with a Haitian church in the mountains of Jarabacoa, where each mission trip has given our students the opportunity to deepen their faith while serving others with Christ’s love.

This year was especially meaningful because four of our chaperones were Leaders for Christ alumni who now serve faithfully with the mission. George Jean serves at Colegio Nueva Vida, Clivens Codio in Los Castillos, Rose-Mica Cemonfils in Bombita and Playa Laguna, and Laira Padilla leads our child sponsorship program. Together, they served alongside our current students in Vacation Bible School and community outreach. Watching former students return as ministry leaders was a powerful reminder that God multiplies every investment made in young lives.
As we prepare to build our next high school in Los Castillos, we look forward to launching a Leaders for Christ discipleship program there. We trust God will raise up future alumni to lead this ministry– transforming lives for generations to come. ~Heather Williams Katz
