Worship & Musicians
// Tim DeTellis
Do you have a favorite worship song?
I still enjoy singing Shout to the Lord. However, lately I find myself humming Amazing Grace. Across our church campuses in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, worship is an important part of the weekend services.
Pastor Moïse Frantzdy leads worship along with his sister Louis Nelchedania in Bire, Haiti.
Pastor Moïse Frantzdy is the worship leader of our church in Bire, Haiti. He began leading worship there in October 1996. His favorite worship song is found in the Haitian Creole Chant d’Espérance (Songs of Hope) hymnal and is titled, “Jezi se nan prezans ou nanm mwen pran plezi (Jesus, It Is in Your Presence That My Soul Rejoices / Finds Delight)”. It’s song number 41 in the hymnal. His sister, Louis Nelchedania, who accepted Jesus on March 16, 2018 and started leading worship in February 2020, enjoys leading worship alongside her brother at church.
The unifying act of singing brings us together during our times of worship as the body of Christ. We welcome your prayers for the faithful ministry of Moïse Frantzdy and Louis Nelchedania serving at our church in Bire, Haiti. ~Tim DeTellis
