Los Castillos: Castle of Hope
// Rob Arms
Los Castillos, meaning The Castle, is living up to its name as a stronghold of faith, learning, and hope.
The campus is home to a growing, energetic church whose enthusiasm for worship, service, and ministry is evident throughout the community. New believers are coming to Christ, and Spirit-filled baptism ceremonies are celebrating lives transformed by faith.
To God be the glory, lives are being changed forever across the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
The campus is also home to our Los Castillos School, named Children of the King, serving students from pre-K through sixth grade. Led by dedicated teachers who are passionate about helping students succeed, the school is flourishing. Their commitment is producing excellent academic results.
Students from our Los Castillos Elementary School represent future graduates of New Missions.
Many students come from Redemption Village, an impoverished community where opportunities are often limited. Students receive an education grounded in faith while discovering possibilities for their future that, without sponsors like you, might otherwise seem out of reach.
The land in front of our elementary school in Los Castillos is ready for the construction of a high school building.
Now comes an even greater opportunity: a new Christian high school on our Los Castillos campus. Imagine more students reached and more lives transformed, as our youth pursue dreams once thought impossible. Instead of leaving for public school after sixth grade, they can continue their education with New Missions and graduate better prepared to serve God.
With your support, this dream can become a reality. ~Rob Arms
