Teaching our children about God and His love for them is one part of our mission.
Throughout the year, we also provide meaningful opportunities for our staff to participate in Bible studies and other Christ-centered activities. We believe that discipling our employees is an essential part of the education we provide, because when our staff grows spiritually, our students benefit as well.
During the month of May, we hosted a month-long book study for our female employees. Forty-five women gathered every Friday to learn practical ways to study Scripture on their own. Using Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin, participants explored five steps designed to help them better understand and apply God’s Word in their daily lives.
Our female employees enjoyed the most recent study where they learned steps on how to delve into the Bible.
In a world where truth can often seem confusing or uncertain, we wanted to encourage our staff to build their foundation on the unchanging truth of Scripture. The women thoroughly enjoyed the study, and we are excited to see how this experience strengthens their faith, deepens their relationship with God, and equips them to reflect Christ more effectively through every area of our mission. ~Heather Williams Katz
