As the meeting began, I could sense their passion for worship and a covering of a sweet anointing—as in Psalm 133, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! On March 21, officially the first day of spring, a group of us stood with our contractor, Francesco Martin, to view the construction site of a church, school, and memorial garden in Los Castillos, Dominican Republic.

Throughout the year, our churches and schools receive new church benches and classroom desks. The entire construction of the school desks and church benches is accomplished by Haitians—including the welding of the legs onto the church benches—which is accomplished by a graduate of New Missions.

How Important is School Lunch?

When it comes to New Missions, our mission would not be possible without you and your church partnership. For too many of our students, the lunch they have at school in Haiti is the only meal they will have that day. Together, we are saying goodbye to hunger and hello to hope in the lives of the children we serve.
