Our church in Los Castillos is blessed to have a vibrant worship team made up of teenagers George Jean, Ashanty Pérez, Christian Cruz and siblings Mardoche, Clivens and Rodelina Codio.

All of these youth are current or former students at Colegio Nueva Vida and are active members of the Leaders for Christ group. The worship team started as a small group after the pandemic and quickly grew into a key part of our church's music. With a dynamic blend of voices and instruments, they invite everyone to worship God.

The worship team is very dedicated and practices for hours every Saturday to prepare for the service on Sunday.

This team is more than just a group of musicians. They see their music as an offering to God—deserving their discipline and best efforts. Their commitment extends well beyond regular church services; they invest countless hours in practice, ensuring that each service is full of meaningful, communal worship. When people share how the team’s worship brings them closer to God’s presence, it fills them with joy. It is a reminder that their dedication is worthwhile and fuels their passion for leading worship. They view their musical abilities as gifts from God meant to encourage the congregation. ~Heather Williams Katz
