In our schools, we believe strongly in investing in the lives of our teachers and employees.
When our teachers have greater control over their personal lives, they are better equipped to serve, support, and love their students well.
The study was beneficial for many of our employees as they learned what the Bible teaches about money management.
To kick off the school year, we organized a Bible study for all of our employees. After seeing how beneficial the study was for a group of young adults who completed it last year, we felt it could also encourage and equip our entire staff.
The eight-week study, designed by Crown Financial Ministries, focused on financial freedom and Biblical principles for managing money. Each week, employees met with coworkers to learn how to create and live within a budget and develop a plan for paying off debt. One group leader shared, “Each session, we learned more about how the Lord invites us to worship Him through our finances.” We have received many positive responses and look forward to seeing the long-term impact on our employees and their families. ~Heather Williams Katz
