Fabianie Joseph and Aidan Dalce are two students attending our Léogâne Sunday school.

Along with 70 other children who participate, they represent a minority in Haiti, as most Haitian children don’t have access to age-appropriate programs. Instead, they learn to sit in with adults during Sunday services.

In contrast, Fabianie and Aidan’s class provides both Biblical teaching and practical ministry training. The children are not only learning Bible stories, but are also being equipped to participate in the life of the church. They are learning how to pray, lead worship, read Scripture, and even preach. The teachers who faithfully serve each week are encouraged as they see the children growing in confidence and spiritual maturity.

Our Signeau Sunday school shares this same vision. Through activities like Bible quizzing, students strengthen their knowledge while enjoying the learning process. The teachers are encouraged when they see children come to know the Lord. It is our prayer that the students continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and serve Him into adulthood. ~Rachel DeTellis
