On January 6, 2026, New Missions celebrated 43 years of ministry in Haiti.

Praise God for His faithfulness! For more than four decades, the Gospel has been proclaimed and lives have been transformed through Christian education, nutrition, medical care, and employment opportunities. The true impact is best understood by those whose lives have been changed.

Gratitude marked January’s annual convention, where Pastor Guy Fontaine was honored for 42 years of faithful service. Many graduates helped lead the event—organizing, preaching, singing, and preparing meals.

Pastor Yaguel asked in his powerful message, "Are you ready for Christ's return?”

Pastor Yaguel from our Bord-Mer church delivered the Sunday message, urging believers to be ready for Christ’s return. Pastor Mario from our Signeau church led a men’s group, Celestial Lighthouse, in a song encouraging them to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Jonas Bertrand, now a lawyer who has served in government positions, shared how his life was transformed. Before his success as a lawyer, he was once so poor he searched for land crabs just to survive. He urges students to remain faithful in their studies.

We thank God for this lasting fruit and look ahead with hope for continued Kingdom impact. ~Rachel DeTellis
