Glory to God!

This summer five different mission trips from eight churches were scheduled in Haiti.
The first trip to the mountainous area of Tom Gateau was filled with victory. In preparation, the team of 42 met for prayer and planning. Provisions were purchased and transportation arranged. New Missions provided sacks of rice and beans, and some donated clothing for distribution. The team blessed the hosting church with these items.

During their time in Tom Gateau, they held revival meetings, did house evangelism, and held late night prayer services. There’s always a spiritual battle going on when God wants to change lives and deliver people from their sin and brokenness. While visiting one home, a woman named Maranatha Cimonelle knelt down wanting to pray to receive Christ. Immediately, it was apparent that there was demonic activity at work, and they had to pray and work for several hours for her full deliverance. Afterwards, she began attending the services, and the host pastor will be discipling her. God did many other amazing things: A second person was also delivered from demon possession, 25 people professed faith in Jesus, and nine people returned to their faith after backsliding. ~Rachel DeTellis
