Families Come to Christ
// Heather Williams Katz
Celebrating 25 years of ministry in the Dominican Republic, we kicked off the year with special chapel services at our campuses.
Parents were invited to attend, and their response was incredibly encouraging. Because of the impact, we’ve continued hosting these chapel services every three months, creating regular opportunities for families to be part of what God is doing in our schools.
Students from our preschool in Playa Chiquita singing a song during the last special chapel service.
During each service, students and teachers work to prepare songs and other presentations. The campus pastor also shares a message. Chapel services have quickly become a highlight for the students and their families. At our most recent service in Bombita, we were overjoyed to see three parents accept Christ!
Each school year, we look for new ways to reach our students and their families with the love of Jesus. One way we’ve been doing this is by offering Bible studies for our female staff members. As they grow in their faith, it naturally pours into their classrooms and the lives of the students they serve. Please continue to pray for our teachers and school leaders as they share God’s love with students and families every day. ~Heather Williams Katz
