Forty-three years have passed since the founding of New Missions in Haiti.

The mission remains strong because our churches and schools continue investing in the next generation to know and serve God. Our congregations are filled with families, young people, and children who will become future leaders.

Recently, youth pastors and school staff at the Léogâne Guillaume church organized a program to give students opportunities to use their God-given talents. Children who had shown strengths in various areas led Scripture readings, preaching, and worship. Roodalie Germain, an eighth-grade student, served as the main worship leader. More than 200 children attended, along with several church youth.

The event was fun and spiritually meaningful, built around the theme The Children of God Are Light. Because some students come from families who do not attend church or know Jesus, the program also served as a valuable time to share the Gospel and show how God can use them as His light bearers.
