Our health center in the Dominican Republic welcomes everyone, with many traveling long distances for our excellent care.

Many pregnant women in the DR do not go to the doctor for prenatal care, which poses serious risks for both the mother and her baby. To address the issue, we provide this service at our health center. Twice a month, we dedicate afternoons exclusively to pregnant women. This arrangement allows them to receive care without the concern of getting sick from other patients at the clinic who are being treated for an illness.

Pregnant women such as Esther Hernandez are very thankful for the prenatal care they receive at our health center.

The expectant mothers greatly appreciate the care they receive at our clinic. Linda Louis, for example, came to us through a recommendation from her friend, Yeni Pierre. These two, along with many other pregnant women speak Haitian Creole instead of Spanish, so we always make sure someone is available to translate. Our support for pregnant women is comprehensive, continuing from pregnancy through childbirth—ensuring both mother and child are healthy. Please pray for Dr. Bryam Perez and our other health center staff as they diligently care for these precious moms and their babies. ~Heather Williams Katz
