Our God is the God of revival. He is the God of salvation and redemption. He makes all things new.

The word revive means to return to life or consciousness. It is beautiful when a person is committed to Christ. There will naturally be abundant living in that person’s life. Even when going through the storms of life the person can claim: it is well with my soul.

Walking to the ocean is a visual reminder for us to follow Jesus all the days of our lives.

Recently, our churches came together for an annual baptism service. I decided not to drive, but walked a mile along the ocean to the baptism in the village of Concrab. New life was evident with these recent believers being baptized. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Some of these new believers left a life which was controlled by Voodoo and fear. We need to be reminded again and again of who we are in Christ, and give God first place in our lives.

Our churches gathered to witness 38 Haitians follow in believer's baptism hosted at our church in Concrab, Haiti.

Pastor Sheguer Marc, a graduate from our Bible college, sees revival happening as more people are baptized.

As Peter told us, “...you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10 ~Charlie DeTellis
