We are thrilled that three of our New Missions graduates just finished up courses in nursing/lab.

They will be highly valued in their communities and a blessing to many. They each feel proud of their accomplishments and are so thankful to their sponsors for making their dreams become reality.

Graduates Hermite from Lassale, Miberte from Neply, and Fredberline from Ti-Riviere are ready to be a blessing.

Fredberline Celestin, sponsored by Doug Bennett (who continued his wife Sandra’s sponsorship in her memory after she passed), and Hermite Cange, sponsored by Sheryl Raley DeTellis, finished a four-year nursing program. Miberte Jean Pierre finished a two-year lab technician program (through memorial donations for Martha Myers), and graduated first in her class!

The nursing students enjoy working in obstetrics, and Miberte likes the field of bacteriology. They already help with small things in their villages such as taking blood pressure, first aid, and basic health guidance. Of course, their first goal is to become employed to support themselves and their families. But, they also recognize how their fields of study opens doors of ministry to the needy. We are thankful for their faith and ask you to pray for employment opportunities to open quickly for each one. ~Rachel DeTellis
