Gregory Doirin, his wife Sonya, and their children Grednyael Christie and Chris Bryan are members at the New Missions church in downtown Leogane, Haiti.

Pastor Guillame Jean is their pastor. Gregory told me, “I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in March 2003 at church in Leogane, during a worship service. The message on repentance touched my heart and I opened my heart to Jesus.” Today, Gregory’s life verse is John 3:16 and he prays to lead his family in knowing the love of Jesus.

Gregory Doirin loves his family and works as a photographer and translator at New Missions.

Jean Marc Fontaine loves and leads his family well as followers of Jesus, and faithfully serves their church in Neply, Haiti.

Stepping out of their home for church on a Sunday morning is more than a tradition...it’s a priority. Jean Marc graduated in the class of 2005 and met his wife at our high school. Jean Marc tells me how he was born after New Missions arrived, and he sees himself as fortunate to only have known life with a church in his village and New Missions serving their community. Today, Jean Marc, his wife Mireille, and their four children (Leila, Kwessy, Kweïcha, and Kwesleïka) are members at the very first New Missions church established in Neply, Bord-Mer, Haiti in 1983. Their family represents a new generation of Christians rewriting Haiti’s history.

Psalm 27 is Jean Marc's favorite. By reading his Bible, he is role modeling to help his family grow spiritually.

Together, we are helping families flourish with churches making disciples and helping dads love Jesus and their families. ~Tim DeTellis
