The eyes of a young child say, “Will you love me, accept me, and bless me?”

The child cannot speak to you, but the child needs you. To be like Jesus is to let a child come into your presence. It is to embrace the child and sit him or her on your lap. There are children that need and are waiting for this love.

Eithan Daniel Garcia is in fifth grade in Los Castillos and is waiting for a sponsor.

When you sponsor a child, the child is nurtured by a network of the finest people beginning with their teacher, the school director, pastor, and church leadership. For most of our students, they are introduced to Jesus at an early age. Their academic growth parallels their spiritual growth. Soon, the child flourishes with the love he or she receives.

Darihanny Alexa Dominguez just started preschool at New Missions in Los Castillos and is waiting for a sponsor.

Unfortunately, for the two children in the photographs, their fathers are absent. That is a deeper need. Often, a child feels rejection when a father does not acknowledge them. I remember a young child asking me to pray that his daddy would come home. The father did not come home, but the young boy with Christian influence grew to be successful.

Our students find spiritual development during chapel services at our schools.

Today, you can help children learn about Jesus by sponsoring a child. Your prayers and support will be the hands and heart of Jesus to bring blessings and a future to a child. ~Jeanne DeTellis Loudon
