Parents in Prayer
// Tim DeTellis
Standing in the middle of the center aisle at our New Missions church in Neply, Haiti, Zius Prosper raised his hand and prayed!
Praying out loud he calls upon the name of the one true God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I remember Zius Prosper when I grew up in Haiti. His family lived in Bord-Mer by the ocean, which was one of the poorest communities we were serving. All four of his children have attended our New Missions school in Bord-Mer.
A member of our Neply church, Zius Prosper leads in prayer.
Zius expressed how he prays the most for his family and their health. What about you? How do you pray for your family? The joy of witnessing prayer at the center of our churches and in the homes of our families is a true testimony of discipleship.
Zius and his family live in Bord-Mer, Haiti, and attend church in Neply.
We celebrate families attending church together across Haiti.
Will you join me in prayer for Zius Prosper and his family? September 13, 2025 will be his 62nd birthday. His wife has not yet made a decision to follow Jesus. To God be the glory, his son Peterson Prosper was just married on April 21, 2025. He was sponsored by Paul and Laurel Armerding. Peterson accepted Jesus at the New Missions school in Bord-Mer, Haiti, where he grew up. Your sponsorship matters and your prayers are making a difference. ~Tim DeTellis
