New Missions in Haiti celebrated 40 years in January, but it’s not “over the hill.”

On the contrary...the churches are alive, mature, and deeply rooted with new leaders assisting with ministry. Our pastors, led by Pastor Guy Fontaine, decided to plan an event in honor of this milestone, but mostly to show their gratitude to God. The event started Friday morning and ended Sunday afternoon. At times, the Signeau church was overflowing with about 1,500 in attendance. All of our pastors were there, along with many from other churches who came to participate.

Imelda Dantes Cesar from Darbonne loves to lead others in passionate, wholehearted worship.

The Signeau ladies decorated the building, food was purchased for a meal served each day, worship leaders from different locations ministered, and guest speakers preached the Word of God. On Saturday night, the preacher spoke on repentance and four people surrendered their lives to Christ. There was a sense of God’s presence and an attitude of thanksgiving for God using the mission to share His love with them. Literally, thousands of lives have been changed through the mission’s work. All glory to God—and thank you to every laborer and supporter who has participated! ~Rachel DeTellis
