Please meet an amazing team of Haitian women who consistently cook the best food in Haiti. Their names are Anite, Chrysia, Clerna, Donia and Rose Vada. In the early days, our women kept these recipes safely in their head by memory. Our younger cooks now read and write and have the mission cookbook with sacred hand-written recipes. With fresh bread, sticky buns, chocolate cake, plantains, beans and rice, biscotti, spaghetti, BBQ chicken, snapper or pizza, they cushion the shock of our visiting teams and comfort them with delicious and familiar foods.
