Dear New Missions Family,
With great honor, I report that Charlie DeTellis in Haiti has a calling like never before. Our New Mission campus in Bordmer is base camp for the U.S. Navy and Marines. Through our mission, thousands of pallets of food and supplies for the Leogane region have been distributed.

Our school children are being fed and each of our schools are preparing to be open very soon. Temporary facilities are being constructed and our school directors and teachers are all in place at each location helping with this progress. On Tuesday, February 2, Charlie visited four of our elementary schools and churches: LaSalle, Marechal, TiBoukan, and Masson.

On Monday, February 1, Charlie was picked up via helicopter and visited the USS Bataan (LHD 5) and met with Captain Thomas M. Negus. Captain Negus expressed gratitude for New Missions welcoming the U.S. military to establish a base camp at our mission. While Charlie was on the ship he visited the medical ward and spoke with several Haitian patients receiving medical care. The U.S. Navy Seabees have partnered with us in the demolishing of buildings which were destroyed in the earthquake, and are helping to build temporary facilities.

Continue to pray for:
1. Our Haitian leadership in Haiti at our churches and schools
2. Charlie DeTellis and the U.S. Military at New Missions
3. Continued financial support
Serving together,

Timothy DeTellis
President, New Missions
